How to play
You get an English word, such as apple. Spell it with romanization keys (s, a, g, wa). You do not need to read Hangul first — the blocks fill in as you tap. Use 2, 3, or 4 blocks to match the word.
apple → sa + gwa (no final sound → two keys, then the next block)

kimchi → gim + chi (gim has a final m → three keys)

Tap keys such as g, n, and eo. You do not need a Korean keyboard. Each guess must be a real Korean word.
g Right sound, right place.
eo In the Hangul spelling, different place.

- A syllable with a final consonant has three keys. With no final, it has two — after the vowel you jump to the next block.
- If the blocks are not a real word, Enter is rejected and the try is not used.
- Keys follow Korean sounds. English may write kimchi; the first key is still g, not k.
- At the end of a syllable, k is the same final as g, r is the l in Seoul, and ng is the final in Gangnam.
- Wrong guesses do not end the round. Hints get stronger after each miss — in romanization, not Hangul you cannot read yet.
- After a few misses you can tap Show Hangul if you want to see the writing.
- After you finish a word, tap Next word to keep going.
- Streak is saved in this browser only. Revealing the answer does not count as a win.
